Monarch Magic: Meet the Butterfly!

Celebrate Pollinator Week by learning about one of nature’s most amazing insects—the monarch butterfly! Master Gardeners will bring real monarch eggs, caterpillars, and chrysalises (when available) so you can see the butterfly life cycle up close. We’ll learn how monarchs grow and change, where they travel during their incredible migration, and why pollinators like butterflies and bees are so important to our world. Then plant zinnia flower seeds in a small pot to take home. With a little care, your flowers will grow and bloom later this summer—providing food for butterflies and other pollinators! All supplies are included. Come enjoy nature, get your hands in the soil, and
help the monarchs!
