Adventure ConnectionAdventure Connection is a school-age care program with sites located in District 622 elementary school buildings. It is a convenient, safe and caring place for children before and after school, on non-school days and summers. Adventure Connection provides educational, enriching, recreational, and engaging experiences for children in grades K-5. During the summer, Adventure Connection consolidates to several sites and expands its services to include youth who have completed grades 6-8 through the Epic Summer program.Child Care Program -
Aquatics (Swimming)Offering a variety of swimming programs year-round for people of all ages and abilities, our exciting opportunities include swimming lessons, water aerobics and open swim. Because our pools are used by a number of swim teams and clubs throughout the year, we must abide by the standards set forth by governing bodies on safe pool temperatures. Our pools maintain a temperature between 81 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.Category -

ECFE ClassesEarly Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) classes are for parents and their children ages birth to 5 years old (before kindergarten). Classes help strengthen family relationships and provide information and resources to parents in their journey to help their children grow and develop to their maximum potential.Category -
Early Childhood ScreeningRegistration paperwork is found at www.isd622.org/screening Though we find daytime appointments the best time to screen young children, if these weekday times do not work for you or your child, please call 651-702-8468 and we will find a time that works for your family! Early Childhood Screening is for children ages 3-5 and is FREE. Minnesota state law requires that all children participate in Early Childhood Screening before entering public kindergartens. Some private schools also require it. You should still enroll for Kindergarten or Pre-school if the screening appointment is further out. A screening appointment is required to take place within their first 90 days of District 622 PreK. This FREE service provides an early look at your child’s development and is good for you and your child! Your child will complete developmental activities with a trained screener and his/her height, weight, vision, and hearing will be checked. You will review your child’s developmental and medical history. You may also be encouraged in these fun, yet emotional years and learn of useful community resources for you and your child.Category -

Preschool/Pre-K Classes3 & 4 year-olds who attend District 622 Preschool/Pre-K will be provided a safe, and nurturing environment that supports children’s first school experiences. We help children develop important social and emotional skills that will set them up for success in school. Licensed teachers offer engaging, hands-on learning experiences in key areas like: Reading & Math readiness Dramatic Play Music Art & sensory activities Science & Social Studies 2026-2027 3 yr old Preschool classes: MWF ($255/mo.) or T/TH ($180/mo.) AM classes offered. Times are 9:30am-12pm Locations: Beaver Lake & Gladstone Your child must be 3 as of Sept 1st 2026, your student will be in the same class all year long, even if they turn 4 during the year. Scholarships are available ____________________________________________________________________________ 4 yr old Pre-K classes: M-F half day classes only (AM or PM) NO FULL DAYS ARE OFFERED Class placement (AM or PM class) is based on our transportation boundaries.
