Connecting with Confidence: Friendships, Relationships, and Dating
Building friendships and exploring relationships can be exciting—and sometimes a little
confusing. This welcoming and supportive class is designed for adults who want to strengthen
their social skills, build meaningful friendships, and learn about dating in a positive and respectful
way. Through guided conversations, activities, and real-life examples, participants will practice
important skills such as starting conversations, understanding social cues, setting healthy
boundaries, and communicating feelings clearly. We’ll also talk about what makes a good friend,
how to handle disagreements, and how to navigate the world of dating safely and respectfully.
This class offers a supportive space to ask questions, share experiences, and gain confidence in
social situations. Instructor: Samantha Johnson
