Decoupage Nesting Dolls with The Museum of Russian ArtArts & CraftsJoin The Museum of Russian Art (TMORA) for a fun hands-on workshop focused on Russia's most iconic wooden handicraft: the matryoshka, or nesting doll. Visit with traveling dolls from the museum's teaching collection, then try your hand at creating your own unique set. We'll use a variety of recycled papers to design one-of-a-kind decoupage dolls. WaitlistHot Mosaics – Fused Glass CreationsArts & CraftsThis class is designed for adults with cognitive disabilities and is partly supported by state funds and a grant from the Kinney Family Foundation. It combines two forms of glass art: mosaicking and glass fusing! Create a dramatic fused mosaic six-inch plate or candle holder. Your design will be embellished with colorful glass pieces, dichroic glass, stringer, murrines, and pebbles. Once completed, your creation will be fired by the instructor (allow 7–10 days).
