Super Mario-Themed Game Coding (Grades 2-5)*All Things CodingOnline Virtual Class: In this class, we introduce students to programming concepts using Scratch. Scratch is a drag-and-drop creative coding platform developed by MIT. Students will be instructed to make a Mario Kart - style game. Then pick custom characters, and track, to customize their games. Join one of the three Community Bridge Consortium beginner-level softball/t-ball teams for an opportunity to learn and enjoy the game. Participants will hit the ball, run the bases, and play various in-field positions. Each player will receive a team T-shirt and a participation medal for the season. Batters can choose to hit from a batting "T" or from a coach-pitched ball. The season includes practices, scrimmages, and a final Saturday tournament on June 6. Trains, Tracks, and Tasty PastaTrips & Special EventsAll aboard for a fun day out! The Twin Cities Model Railroad Museum in St. Paul features more than 12,000 square feet of operating model railroads. Watch the trains in action, check out the massive LEGO display, explore hands-on train-themed exhibits, and play at the wooden train tables. Be sure to stop by the gift shop before we go. After the museum, we’ll hop back on the bus and head to Buca for a delicious pasta lunch. Your registration fee covers bus transportation, museum admission, and lunch. Participants who need assistance must be accompanied by a caregiver, and caregivers must also register. The bus will board at the Gladstone Community Education Center. However, there are various vastly different Trust options, and the question arises: “Am I using the right Trust for my needs and goals?” Often used Trusts include living Trusts, Testamentary Trusts, and Irrevocable Trusts; each serves a different purpose, and each has a different result. One common problem that often needs addressing is the over-utilization of the Living Trust for goals or problems that it does not resolve. For example, a Living Trust probably doesn’t protect your assets against Medicaid and the nursing home. The Irrevocable Trust and the Testamentary Trust have their strengths and weaknesses.
