What's Included: 30 hours of classroom instruction: Covering state-approved curriculum to prepare students for their permit exam. 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training: Individualized, hands-on driving lessons with professional, experienced instructors. Flexible scheduling: Convenient class times and driving sessions designed to fit your student's busy schedule, with easy make-up options available for busy teenaged schedules. State certification: Upon completion of the program, students will receive all necessary documentation to apply for their Minnesota driver’s license.

The State of Minnesota requires that driver’s education distance learning be conducted in a face-to-face platform, which requires that students have a video camera and audio capabilities on their devices. Safeway has chosen a secure Zoom platform to conduct the class. Students will be required to be in front of the camera and interactive for the full three hour class. Safeway will be emailing the classroom handouts and 2024 MN Driver’s Manual in pdf format for printing. No experience necessary to attend this drumline camp – students of all levels and abilities are invited to come have fun drumming! Drumline camp is open to all ISD 622 students who are entering grades 7-12. All equipment, instruments, sticks, mallets, and music will be provided. Whether you already have been part of a drumline or you don’t have any experience at all, this camp is for you. In this camp we will give you all the information needed to play a battery instrument in an indoor drumline, from introduction to kinds of drumline instruments to technique to marching with the instruments to instruction in the drum of your choice (tenor, bass, or snare). Join us and have a great time learning about the wonderful world of indoor drumline! *Students who participate in this camp will have the opportunity to continue their drumline involvement by joining Fusion Drumline in the fall.
