Afton Apple Orchard HayrideTrips & Special EventsCelebrate fall with a fun evening at Afton Apple Orchard! Enjoy a hayride through theapple orchard and out to the pumpkin patch. Along the way, you'll learn how to pickapples, why bees are so important to the orchard, and how the staff care for the treesthroughout the season.Each participant will pick two apples, choose a small pumpkin (about the size of acantaloupe), and enjoy a 3 oz. sample of fresh apple cider.Please dress for the weather. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Meet at Afton AppleOrchard, 14421 S. 90th St., Hastings. Please arrive early, as the tour will leave promptly at6:00 p.m. Look for the "Community Bridge Meets Here" sign.Staff are welcome to attend and pay the same $15 fee if participating in the hayride.Fall 26

Glow Dance PartyTrips & Special EventsThis activity is tailored for adults with cognitive developmental disabilities, as such the volume will be kept at a reasonable level. Brighten up the winter with our Glow Dance Party! Dance the night away with your favorite DJ while enjoying games, snacks, and great music. Wear your favorite neon or glow-in-the-dark shirt and light up the dance floor! To help us plan for food, please be sure to register caregivers. Donations are welcome to help cover event costs! For Classes at Gladstone Park in the main lot on Manton St and enter through door 1E. The gym is to the right of the lobby.Fall 26

Halloween Costume Dance PartyTrips & Special EventsThis activity is designed for adults with cognitive developmental disabilities, so the music volume will be kept at a comfortable level. Get ready for a “ghostly” good time at the Community Bridge Halloween Dance Party! Designed for adults with cognitive developmental disabilities, the music will be kept at a comfortable level so everyone can enjoy themselves. Come in costume and dance the night away as DJ Tricia spins “spooktacular” tunes. Snap a photo at the booth, play games, win prizes, and enjoy “fang-tastic” snacks and treats, catered by Ellie Sullivan. Capture lasting memories in our fun-filled photo booth, complete with playful props. Dressy casual attire is encouraged—think stylish jeans or slacks paired with a button-up shirt or a chic dress. Trains, Tracks, and Tasty PastaTrips & Special EventsAll aboard for a fun-filled day! Visit the Twin Cities Model Railroad Museum in St. Paul, home to more than 12,000 square feet of operating model railroads. Watch trains in action, explore interactive exhibits, admire an impressive LEGO display, and enjoy hands-on activities. Don't forget to visit the gift shop before we leave. After the museum, we'll travel to Buca for a delicious pasta lunch. Your registration includes: Round-trip bus transportation Museum admission Lunch Participants who need assistance must attend with a registered caregiver.
