Celebrate fall with a fun evening at Afton Apple Orchard! Enjoy a hayride through theapple orchard and out to the pumpkin patch. Along the way, you'll learn how to pickapples, why bees are so important to the orchard, and how the staff care for the treesthroughout the season.Each participant will pick two apples, choose a small pumpkin (about the size of acantaloupe), and enjoy a 3 oz. sample of fresh apple cider.Please dress for the weather. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Meet at Afton AppleOrchard, 14421 S. 90th St., Hastings. Please arrive early, as the tour will leave promptly at6:00 p.m. Look for the "Community Bridge Meets Here" sign.Staff are welcome to attend and pay the same $15 fee if participating in the hayride.

This activity is tailored for adults with cognitive developmental disabilities, as such the volume will be kept at a reasonable level. Brighten up the winter with our Glow Dance Party! Dance the night away with your favorite DJ while enjoying games, snacks, and great music. Wear your favorite neon or glow-in-the-dark shirt and light up the dance floor! To help us plan for food, please be sure to register caregivers. Donations are welcome to help cover event costs! For Classes at Gladstone Park in the main lot on Manton St and enter through door 1E. The gym is to the right of the lobby.
