    1 Day Horse Camp (Ages 6-15)

    DAY CAMP (Ages 6-15) TIME: PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. WHAT TO EXPECT: Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. No flip flops. Sunscreen/hat/bug spray Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch Treats for the horses if you want Helmets are provided. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine,as we have an indoor barn and arena.     With Acrylic Art StudioDiscover the rich culture of henna. Henna is a dye prepared from leaves of a henna tree also known as Egyptian privet. Henna is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. After stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. Learn the basics of henna tattoos and practice them. The instructor will fill in or finish your henna design and take home henna cone. All the materials will be provided

    Course Description: This class focuses on building strong foundational tumbling skills while progressing through our beginnercurriculum. Athletes will work on proper technique, body control, coordination, and safe skill execution in a positive and encouraging environment.Athlete Attire: Athletes should wear athletic clothing, such as shorts or fitted athletic pants with an athletic top. Please avoidoverly loose clothing. Athletes may participate barefoot or wear clean indoor athletic shoes.   • Driver's Education Fall 2026-VIRTUAL

    The State of Minnesota requires that driver’s education distance learning be conducted in a face-to-face platform, which requires that students have a video camera and audio capabilities on their devices. Safeway has chosen a secure Zoom platform to conduct the class. Students will be required to be in front of the camera and interactive for the full three hour class. Safeway will be emailing the classroom handouts and 2024 MN Driver’s Manual in pdf format for printing. If you do not have the ability to print your course materials, please contact tkohner@isd622.org at least one week prior to the start of your class to pick up a printed packet.     Course Description: This class is designed for athletes looking for introductory cheerleading training, with experience levels ranging from beginner to intermediate. It is a great foundational course for athletes preparing to join a competitive cheer team. Athletes will work on all major areas of cheerleading, including tumbling, stunting, jumps, and motions. Coaches provide structured instruction focused on proper technique, safety, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. 10 classes per sessionClass Attire & Requirements: Athletic shorts or fitted athletic pants with a fitted tank top or t-shirt are recommended. Athletes should bring clean athletic shoes to participate in.
