Join us as we delve into Minnesota’s rich and diverse art history, celebrating the region’s unique role in the broader history of American art. This seminar offers an in-depth exploration of the iconic and emerging artists who have shaped our state’s cultural landscape, from the 1700s to today.. Highlighting influential figures such as George Morrison, Warren MacKenzie, Wanda Gág, and Clement Haupers, among many others. We’ll examine the legacy of these artists, discuss how significant pieces have been acquired by museums and private collections, and look at the role of historic galleries. Additionally, this seminar will address the evolving Minnesota art market, providing insights on expanding personal collections in today’s environment.
