Discover the charm of wool appliqué in this beginner friendly class designed to spark your creativity while building foundational skills. You will choose a seasonal motif, then cut and arrange felted wool shapes on a 9 inch table mat. Simple and beautiful hand embroidery stitches will be used to add detail and bring your design to life, creating a piece that works well for home décor or as a thoughtful gift. Bring a sharp pair of fabric scissors. All skill levels are welcome. A $25 supply fee is payable to the instructor at the first session.+

- Fabric scissors
- Fabric marking pen or chalk
- Pins or fabric weights
- Acrylic ruler
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Seam ripper.

Sandra Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age eight. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
