Feel Good Series: Falls Screening & Prevention
Falls Screening & Prevention is an interactive class designed to help you better understand your personal risk for falls and learn practical ways to reduce that risk. Led by occupational therapist Jordan Zilisch, this session begins with an overview of fall prevention basics, including common causes of falls and strategies to improve safety. You'll then participate in an individualized fall risk screening using standardized assessment tools. Based on your results, you'll learn which risk category you fall into and receive personalized recommendations to help improve balance, safety, and confidence in everyday activities. The focus is on practical, actionable steps you can take to stay steady, active, and independent.
