Cold Process Soap Making

Join John Hanson, North High Class of "71, owner of Longfellow Soap Company, to learn how soap is made. This is a lecture / demonstration class as lye is used in the process. Each student receives a detailed manual of ingredients, equipment, process, and sources for these things and takes home three bars of finished soap.

After graduating from North High in 1971 I went to Augsburg College to sing in the choir and complete a less than useful degree in Political Science. This was followed by careers in retail and woodworking.I started my soap company after retiring and now have 13 stores selling my soap. I also teach stained glass classes.
